Pet food OEM · destination and shipment handoff
Pet Food Export Document Planning
Build a pet food export document list around the destination, selected product and importer requirements before the shipment is arranged.
Send ZoePetSup the market, product scope and document requests from your importer or appointed adviser. We can review the available product and shipment information, identify responsibilities and keep the document handoff connected to the order.

Connect the requested documents to the selected product and shipment.
Your export document decisions
Prepare a document list for your order
Plan your OEM project
Begin with the destination and the actual product
Identify the importing market, responsible importer and selected food before asking for a standard export pack.
The country, product composition, intended use and shipment arrangement can affect the information your importer needs. State whether the project concerns dry cat food, dry dog food or soft chews, and identify the product and pack versions under discussion.
Ask your importer or appointed adviser to provide the current requirements for that product and route. Include any requested document wording, issuing party, language, format or advance review. Bring questions that remain unresolved into the project discussion early.
Keep the importer and consignee details clear. Where a distributor, broker, freight forwarder or other party is involved, explain who is coordinating the requirements and who will receive the documents.

Plan your OEM project
Build a document list that can be reviewed
For every requested document, state its purpose, required reference and responsible party.
Document coordination can include an invoice, packing list, origin documents, COA, product specification and bill of lading, with a health certificate or other documents considered where required. Confirm the actual set, availability and issuing arrangements for the order.
A document name alone may not define the request. Send the required content or example format where available, and identify whether an original, copy, translation or advance draft review is needed.
| Document area | What to discuss | What to connect |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Required commercial details and the agreed order basis. | Buyer, seller, product and quantity references. |
| Packing list | The requested finished-pack and shipment information. | SKU mix, packs and the actual shipment. |
| Product specification | The finished-product information required for review. | Selected product and current specification version. |
| COA or test information | Relevant test scope, batch reference and availability. | The results requested for the identified goods. |
| Origin documentation | The specific origin document and issuing requirements. | The product, shipment and destination request. |
| Transport document | The document and instructions for the agreed transport arrangement. | Consignee details and the shipment handoff. |
| Additional market documents | Any required health, registration or other specific documentation. | The applicable product, route and confirmed responsibilities. |
Plan your OEM project
Make supplier and importer responsibilities explicit
Separate the information to provide, the requirement to verify and the approval to obtain.
Do not assume that a company certificate or an earlier shipment establishes permission for every formula and destination. A proposed document list should be checked for the actual product and market before it is treated as complete.
If a requested document depends on an outside issuing body or a specific product condition, raise that dependency before relying on a production or shipment milestone. Availability and timing need confirmation for the project.
Supplier information
Identify the product, batch and shipment information requested from ZoePetSup. Confirm what can be provided and what needs further arrangement for the selected order.
Importer review
Have the responsible importer or adviser confirm the destination requirements and review the proposed document set. Provide the correct party and product details for that review.
Shipment coordination
Agree who sends instructions to the forwarder or other transport party, who receives drafts and when the final documents are required.
DEFINE THE REQUIREMENTS THAT MATTER
Confirm the requirement behind each document.
Identify the required content, issuing conditions and responsible reviewer.
Plan your OEM project
Keep product and batch records consistent
Use the same product, pack and order references across the quality and shipment handoff.

Give each SKU a clear product and pack reference. If the range contains different life stages, bag sizes, languages or formula versions, identify the relevant quantity and document needs for each combination.
Review product specifications, requested test information and batch references against the selected order. Ask which records are available, which results are relevant and how the finished goods will be identified in the handoff.
List changes made after a document draft is reviewed. A new product version, revised quantity or different consignee may affect several records, so the final set should be checked together rather than updated as isolated files.
Plan your OEM project
Review the document handoff before shipment
Give the reviewers a clear checklist of consistency questions and unresolved items.
A draft review helps identify inconsistent information before the final handoff. It does not itself establish customs clearance or market access. Confirm the relevant product requirements, responsibilities and issuing arrangements through the appropriate parties.
Keep the date your business needs goods separate from the time required for document review, shipment and local procedures. Tell us which event controls your launch so the dependencies can be discussed.
| Review point | Question to resolve | Handoff record |
|---|---|---|
| Product and quantity | Do the records describe the selected goods and quantity mix? | Accepted SKU, pack and order references. |
| Party details | Are the required names and delivery instructions current? | Confirmed buyer, consignee and coordination contacts. |
| Required content | Does each document address the importer’s specific request? | Reviewed requirements and any open questions. |
| Version and timing | Which draft or final version is required at each milestone? | Approved versions, recipients and delivery arrangements. |
Plan your OEM project
Agree the document plan with the order
Make the document list part of the project scope rather than an unexpected request at dispatch.
For a repeat order, identify the previous shipment and explain any changed market, product, pack or party details. Use the prior set as a review reference while confirming what is required for the new order.
Identify the market
Confirm the destination, product and responsible importer.
Submit the requirements
Send the document list, required content and issuing conditions.
Review availability
Agree responsibilities, references and unresolved dependencies.
Confirm the handoff
Check the current versions, recipients and required timing.
READY FOR THE NEXT STEP?
Keep the final set consistent with the order.
Review the product, quantity, party details and shipment references together.

Pet food export document questions
Start with the importer’s current requirements for the selected product and destination.
01Which export documents can we discuss with ZoePetSup?
Document coordination can include the invoice, packing list, origin documents, COA, product specification and bill of lading, with health or other documents considered where required. Confirm the actual set and arrangements for your order.
02Is there one document pack for every country?
The required set depends on the destination, product and shipment arrangement. Ask your importer or appointed adviser for the current requirements and send them for review.
03Can a company certificate guarantee market access?
Company or system documentation has a defined scope. Product permission, importer requirements and shipment documents need review for the actual market and selected food.
04What should our importer provide?
Send the destination, product details and document list, including requested content, issuing party, language, format and timing. Identify the contact responsible for checking the requirements.
05When should documents be discussed?
Raise them during the quotation and order discussion, especially when an issuing condition, specific product requirement or advance review affects the project schedule.
06Can we use the previous order’s documents?
Identify the previous shipment as a reference, then confirm the current product, quantity, pack, party and market requirements for the new order.
